We kicked off our dental health study!

Super cute craftivity by Christie
at First Grade Fever!
I altered it a bit to save on time/
construction paper.

Click here to check it out!

Students write about what they
think the Tooth Fairy does with
all the teeth after she collects them.

I read The Tooth Witch to the
students after this writing assignment
is finished.  It's a cute story about
how the Tooth Fairy came to be and
what she does with all the teeth!

The students LOVE the
Tooth Edition poster!
I have it in the hallway
and other students stop all
the time to check it out!
I found this idea on Pinterest!

Only me.....

I was opening the umbrella to my
table and chair in the hallway.
The students sit there for listen to reading (Daily 5).
It was jammed and hard to open.
Anyway...I rammed the umbrella top right into my eye!
I mean...WHO points an umbrella or ANYTHING
right at their EYE to open it?!?!

The good news is the cornea wasn't gouged!
The white of my eye had scratches.

The bad news is I had to wear my glasses.
They are so OLD!

The kids kept telling me I don't look
like Mrs. Short!

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Ouch!! That sounds like something I would do! We have had TONS of rain here. I had to move my car on Monday because it was about an inch away from getting flooded in the school parking lot. Sadly, it is still raining!
