Fry Word Fun!

I started a new spelling program this year that uses the Fry sight words. I am also using Fry word wall words. I have never used Fry words before, always Dolch, so I have very little in the way of games or activities using these words. I created a couple of games that I put on TpT and wanted to share them with you all as a freebie.

Word Work Freebie!

Just in time for Halloween! I created a freebie for word work. Students write their spelling words in the cauldrons with white crayon and then color the cauldron with marker. Not my idea of course, I have seen different versions elsewhere.

Morning Meeting Freebie

I created this freebie for students 

to complete as they come in the 

classroom in the morning, before

our morning meeting where we 

discuss of all these skills and more!

I can walk around as students complete

it and see if they are "getting" it.

Unlike morning meeting, where it is oral.

I am going to laminate them and

students will use dry erase to save paper.
