Simpson's Superstars is hosting this fun linky!
I found it and thought...
PERFECT
for the million V-Day pics I posted on here!

Read on for Valentine's Fun!

We started our Valentine's activities
the day before Valentine's Day
with this story.  Students make
connections to other "Night Before"
stories we have read.

We estimated Conversation Hearts

We read Beans to Chocolate &
Chocolatina.

We watched the Hershey tour and
I gave them one Hershey Kiss to eat.

Students wrote a story about
if they woke up and were chocolate
like Chocolatina.

The Sweetheart Snatcher activities
from Abby at The Inspired Apple.
Students love this and it was
fun to compare to the
Candy Corn Bandit,
also by Abby!

We also did Khrys's
Candy Heart activities,
though my camera died AGAIN
and I didn't get pictures.

I HAVE to get a new camera
for the classroom!

Our craftivity
"I feel loved when"

We also did Cara Carroll's
Be Swine craftivity.
I forgot pictures!
These turned out really cute!

When you kiss and hug someone
and when you like someone.

It means you lick like someone and
you want to marry someone.

I read the story Love Bugs,
they play Roll and Draw a Love Bug
and they make their own
Love Bug using hearts
they cut out.  This is always the first
time many of them have ever cut out hearts!
They do a great job!
However, I forgot to take pictures of
any of their Love Bugs!
I hope someone left one at school
so I can get a picture tomorrow!

One student left his Love Bug!

One little girl got all of her work done and

Last Minute Valentine's Day Idea & Clifford's Birthday!

I created this product for
our 3rd grade teacher!

to check it out!
It's for sale in my TpT store.
The print is not all black
on the awards! I am not
sure why it looks like it
on the thumbnails.

I have a lot of fun
activities to share but
need to find the time to post
them all! Hopefully this weekend!

Today was Clifford's birthday!

ICN session, Clifford's Birthday,
through our AEA.
Clifford showed up on the ICN
and what do you know...
when we returned to the classroom,
there he was too!!

My middle school daughter volunteered to
dress up for me!

Hugs for the kiddos!

Treats from the birthday dog!

Funny From a Honey

One little guy came to me after
recess and restroom break and
says, "Mrs. Short, that boy
peeked under the bathroom door
at me when I was having my
private time."

They CRACK me up!
