Mystery Reader, Messy Vs. Clean & Five for Friday

This is my first time linking up
with Doodle Bugs Teaching for...

fiveforfriday

1.  Family members sign up to be
our Mystery Reader on Fridays.
They send clues to school and
I read them on Friday morning.

I was so excited!
This week's mystery reader
 read the book

and so it was the perfect time
to do my mini unit
Messy vs. Clean!
She also brought in
healthy snacks so the kiddos
would have energy to go home
and clean their messy bedrooms!

Hmm..I wonder how many
actually went home and did that?!?!

I also went right to Amazon
and ordered the book!

Click the picture to go to my
TpT store to check it out!

2. Super Speller Slipper Club!
Students bring slippers from
home to keep in their locker.
They wear them during our
spelling test on Fridays!

 (My favorite slippers!
Shh..don't tell!
No favorites allowed!)

3. I finally checked January
journals! I LOVED this one!
Don't get me wrong...
I quickly check them after
Daily Five but I REALLY check them
as soon as possible
when I have time
up to a month later...
eek!

This little girl is quite a writer
and illustrator! She does amazing
work everyday!

4. This was from yesterday
but I asked the kids if they
spread their Love Pox when
they got home after school!
They did and said their parents
loved catching them!
So fun! My new fave activity!

5. My youngest "doing the
crossed eyes" and her friend
from school. This is the first
time she is spending the night
and they are SO excited!

Funny From a Honey

This happened in another class,
but I had to share!
They watch a National Geographic
Kids video on the Polar Regions.
A whale, I believe, gave birth.
One of the kids went home and
told their mom that an animal
pooped out their baby and
asked if that is how they were born.
YIKES....
but it still CRACKED me up!

Thanks for stopping by!
