If you have followed me for long,
you may know I love fun, smelly
things for school! Pens, pencils, markers,
stickers, smellies (flavored chapsticks to
rub on their hands for appropriate behavior)...
you name it and I probably have it!
Look what I found on clearance!
Smelly bubbles!!!!
I saw the idea somewhere last
year to use a bubble blower to
practice self control. I already
bought one last year...but it
didn't have bubbles that smelled,
SO...had to have this one!
The idea is, while the students are sitting
at your meeting spot, (I did it while at their
desks too) you blow bubbles into the air
and they can't pop them, practicing self control!
Of course, they have to show the wrong
way as well and pop bubbles!
I pull it out whenever I think the
students need a reminder!
Wish I would have thought to take
pictures of us doing this last year!
I am reallllly excited about my
newest packet!

Wow, what a great idea!! I've never heard of using a bubble blower that way, but it is something I think i want to try!! I LOVE that you found smelly bubbles!! Have you seen the bubbles that come with these special gloves so that you can catch and hold the bubbles without them breaking? :-) I hope you have a wonderful school year this year! Can't wait to read all about your year!! :-)
