A New Classroom, A New Grade...I'm Moving to Kindergarten!

After 9 years in the same room teaching 1st grade, I am switching rooms and grades! I will be teaching Kindergarten!  I thought it would be fun to blog about the process through pictures!

Pictures of my current classroom...

Some of the packing process...

Pictures of the new room...
A blank slate!

I would LOVE ideas on what to do
above that long wall of cubbies!

Giant TV has to come down...

Getting the closet organized...

The giant TV is down...

My loft came with me thanks to my
husband and daughter's boyfriend!

A few of my projects and finds for the new room...

Sanded and ready to paint...

Fresh coat of spray paint...

A spare room in my basement has become
Kindergarten Headquarters...

While the decision to move to Kindergarten was a fairly easy one, the decision to change my theme from safari to something else is not! I love the chalkboard and neon/bright look though...a lot! I "think" I have decided to go with that and keep some zebra striped elements.

Just can't part with the zebra striped safari jeep...

Thanks for stopping by!
Check back soon to see more progress!

  1. Congrats on your move to K! I thought about changing to 2nd grade this year, but I was scared of what my TpT purchases would look like. ;)
