A Little Late....A Little Early....Remind101

I will start with my
"a little late"!

Since school has already started
for most, you can file it away for
next year if you are interested!

It's a freebie!

    Classroom Freebies Manic Monday
We have used the purple take home
folders for years at our school.
Most call them MOOSE books, but
I, of course, call them SAFARI books!

Now for my
"a little early"!

Okay...this may be a lot early...

This is a story I wrote, packed
with 18 common core activities to go with it.

No pictures are included in my story.
Students become the illustrators
and then you bind it and have a class
book for them to reread!

I hope you check it out!
Click here or the picture above!

Here is a peek at what is inside!

Here's a question for you...

HOW do you all manage NOT
to laugh...when one of your little
angels passes gas so LOUD and the
ENTIRE class bursts out laughing?!?!

It took everything I had folks...
everything I had...

I may or may not have let out
a little snicker or two...
not because passing gas is funny
of course...those kiddos laughs are
contagious!

This site is awesome! Parents can sign
up, only takes a minute, and you can send
a mass text to remind families about things
such as sack lunch, field trip, school pictures,
unplanned early outs, etc. It is private, no
phone numbers are shared, and they can't
respond back. You will need to get the free
app if you want to send messages by cell
phone, otherwise it can be done from the
computer on your Remind101 homepage!

Here is a little peek at our week!

We have been building stamina for
Daily 5, working on routines and rules
and getting out early due to the heat...
EVERY SINGLE DAY!
Makes it hard to establish routines!

Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I love your Nicky's folders and am totally digging the zebra background on your blog. Just hopping over from Manic Monday's Classroom Freebies linky. OMG- I know what you mean about the childrens' laughter being contagious - my only saving grace is turning around and avoiding eye contact for the next fifteen seconds.

  5. Hi KIm,

My name is Martin and I'm a teacher from Canada. I just started a new website called Resources4teaching where educators can buy and sell lessons and educational resources. We are new and are looking for people to join and put up their materials for sale on our website. We are having an iPad draw for the first 100 Vendors who join and upload at least 1 lesson /resource for sale on our website. There are absolutely no fees to join and you earn royalties of 70%. You can visit us at: http://www.resources4teaching.com

If you know any other teachers who might be interested in this Website, please forward this to them and if you have any questions, feel free to message me.

    Have a great day
